one intent.

01 / 03
Consultancy 01

A regional services group rebuilt for the next decade of growth.

A privately-held group operating across the GCC was, on paper, profitable. In practice, decisions sat with three founders, costs were drifting and the next generation of leadership had no room to lead. We worked alongside the chair through a structured nine-month engagement covering strategy, organisational design, performance management and a leadership transition plan, delivered in parallel.

Outcome A redesigned operating model in place; two new business units empowered with their own P&L; a defined succession plan adopted by the board.
Experience 02

A multi-day cultural festival for a UAE government client.

Conceived and delivered an inaugural multi-day programme: talks, exhibitions, performances and a dialogue strand structured to leave a written record. The brief was not, in the end, an event. It was the establishment of an annual platform — and the materials, partnerships and rights structures that would let it return each year without us.

Outcome Programme delivered to capacity audiences; cultural-policy outcomes documented in a closing report; second edition commissioned for the following year.
Investment 03

A long-term partnership with a growth-stage business.

An owner-operated company in a category we know well, at the point where the work of building had outgrown the founder's bandwidth. We took a minority position, joined the board, and embedded operationally on a defined cadence — strategic finance, commercial governance, the early architecture of a senior team. Held deliberately oblique here, in keeping with the relationship.

Outcome A clearer operating rhythm; a senior leadership team in place; the business set up to outgrow the founder's individual capacity, on the founder's terms.
— Approach

A practice with a
through-line.

I.

Consultancy is the spine.

Every engagement begins with a question about strategy, operating model or organisational design. Events and investment are practised in service of that work — never as substitutes for it, and never as upsells on it.

II.

Experience is how change becomes felt.

A strategy that is only argued in a room rarely survives the room. We use experience — festivals, product launches, summits, programming — as an instrument of conviction, not as a service-line of its own.

III.

Investment is patient and operational.

When we invest, we invest a small share of the firm's attention into a small number of businesses, alongside the capital. We are not a fund. We are an operator that, occasionally, holds a position.

IV.

Selective by design.

A small book of work each year is the only way to keep partner-level attention across all three disciplines without diluting any of them. We say no often, and we say it early.
